NEW PET

WHEN I was in bed last night, I thought I saw a shadow coming down the wall towards me, but it wasn't a shadow!!

My dad caught it for me, then went and told all the students here that it was in his bed.  I think some of them didn't sleep last night.

  2. This is Auntie Carol. It is good to see that you are helping out in so many ways with the daily activities of the community. Feb. 22nd was Grandpa Gaboury's birthday, so I am sure you offered your mass for him that Sat.
I am very proud of you to try the many difficult things that the people there need to do just to survive. Hauling water, food & stones is what a lot of the world's people do every day. We are so blessed & privileged in Canada, and have a great responsibility to help make their lives better. God will reward you for helping the poor. We have a lot to learn from them about trusting in God's' providence.
Hoping that your Mother, Andre & Xavier arrived safely today. Remember that a long flight can go much quicker by praying the Rosary & chatting with people around you. Hopefully you can start the Novena to St. Joseph tomorrow, March 10th as his feast day is March 19th when you will be travelling home. I offered my mass & holy hour for all of you yesterday. You will need to pray for a safe trip home. I always pray the St. Michael prayer on taking off & landing & know that he is on the wings guiding the plane safely. Do you have the Stations of the Cross being celebrated on Fridays in Lent there? Tuesday before Ash Wednesday is Shrove Tuesday because that is the day that we prepare to have our sins shriven, (get ride of them) during Lent. Traditionally all fat & meat, dairy & poultry products are used up, maybe that is why they crack eggs on your head.
I look forward to your safe return & hearing more about how you are learning to be a generous Christian. Love & prayers, Auntie Carol
